Movies Based on True Stories

I was chatting with my friend today about the number of movies released this year inspired by true events. Out of the 144 movies I have seen at the cinema this year, 29 have been fact-based. Of course there would be liberties taken by some of these films where scenes are fictionalised for dramatic purposes. If it is a biopic, I find that the best of these films involve a certain period of one's life, not the entire life of the person in question as it tries to cover too much ground. With Hollywood running out of ideas, don't be surprised to see more of these types of films in the future.
