Over the next few weeks, I shall comment briefly on the movie websites I like to visit. The first one in the series is Rotten Tomatoes:

This page gathers a selection of reviews and if the movie in question garners a positive rating of over 60%, it is certified fresh. Below that figure, it is deemed rotten. There is a general consensus for each movie with a summary of each review plus there is a link to the extended review if you would like to read more.

It also tells you the movies that are opening in a particular week, what is coming soon, the weekly box office and the top DVD rentals. Navigate the site and you will find other features such as photo galleries, trailers, movie news and session times.

If I want a quick check of the reviews of the movies I am about to see, I usually check out this page due to its informative summaries. Rotten Tomatoes...rotten in name but fresh in delivering the goods.
