why you should go to the cinema

The top 10 reasons for seeing movies at the cinema:
1) Bigger, louder, better. Not even the biggest TV screen can capture the visuals and sounds that a cinema auditorium provides. Some movies seen in the cinema make you feel like you're actually in the scenes.
2) The atmosphere can be electric when there is a full house. A comedy can be funnier, a horror movie scarier, a drama more powerful...when the audience reacts.
3) Conversely, if you're the only person in the cinema, you can burp and fart to your heart's content. It's the closest you'll ever feel to being a VIP when the cinema runs a movie for a solitary person.
4) Blockbusters are meant to be seen on the big screen. You've got to be kidding yourself seeing the latest blockbuster on your next flight. That huge special effects blockbuster does not have that same allure on a smartphone.
5) When the lights go down, you know you're about to see a movie. You're not at home doing everything (even if takes 10 seconds) that is required to play a movie. It's always a special treat to know that someone is putting on a movie for you to see.
6) You have to concentrate more knowing that you can't rewind the movie if you have missed something. It all adds up to the spontaneity of moviegoing.
7) A great place for a date. If you don't know what to talk about especially if it's your first date, why not discuss the movie you have just seen? It would be extremely awkward for a first date at your home seeing a DVD or Blu-ray.
8) You're a social butterfly and have met your friends at the local mall. How do you extend the time you spend with your friends without leaving the mall? Easy...catch a movie! You don't have to worry about cleaning up your home to make it presentable and you sure don't have to worry about cleaning up your home after your friends have trashed it.
9) You are forced to sit through the entire movie thus having an uninterrupted, continuous flow. It just doesn't seem right to take as many breaks as you want when seeing a movie at home.
10) See number 1). Surely this reason is strong and compelling enough to count as two reasons!
