If you love independent, arthouse movies then this is the website for you. You will find a lot of movies that you won't be able to catch at the multiplexes. I enjoy foreign movies and the Norton Street cinemas in Leichardt and the Verona cinemas in Paddington are usually the places where I see them.

 

The website itself is easy to navigate. There are features such as session times and tickets, films, cinemas, events and offers, and film festivals. All of these headings can be easily seen near the top of the page if you are using a desktop computer.

 

The Verona cinema doesn't have allocated seating but the Norton Street cinema does. I don't book my seats online but the page allows you to check what seats are available. If you have read my past posts, you will know that I am fussy with where I sit. That means before I see a movie at the Leichardt cinema, I go to the Palace cinema website to see if my favourite centre seat has not been booked. If these seats are taken, I'll wait to see the movie another time or day.

 

One of the only problems I have with this website is that there's no giveaways unlike the other major cinema chains in Australia. I've won prizes from Hoyts, Event Cinemas, Dendy and IMAX but unfortunately I won't be able to add Palace Cinemas to that list.
