Oldest Directors
You would think that after his critically acclaimed, box office smash "American Sniper", Clint Eastwood would retire from directing for it would be an excellent way to go out on top. He is set to direct a movie about pilot hero Chesley Sullenberger who landed his plane on the Hudson River in New York several years ago. Another discussion I had with my friend last night was about the oldest movie directors and I was sure that Eastwood was the man until I did a Google search and found out about Manoel de Oliveira. He only died this year at the age of 106. He was still directing films when he was 102 years old! For his filmography, check out this link: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0210701/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1
