Comedy is Subjective
I have mentioned in a few of my reviews that comedy is subjective. There are different types of funny movies including black humour, slapstick, gross out, satire and mockumentary. What you might find extremely hilarious, another person might find dull and boring. I think that out of all the movie genres, comedy is the most divisive. I loved the recent release "Spy" as it's one of the funniest films I have seen in the past couple of years. It obviously didn't make this reviewer laugh one bit: http://www.abc.net.au/nightlife/stories/4242104.htm
It would be interesting to discover the types of movies that make him laugh. If you know me at all, then you'll know that I am partial to toilet humour.
