Writing Reviews
I have been asked which are the easiest reviews to write. I find that the movies I score less than 50/100 and more than 80/100 are the easiest ones as you can have a load of either negative or positive comments to include. The reviews that fall in the 60-70 range are the most difficult as it's often difficult to be absolutely negative or positive with my comments. These take a little longer to write, perhaps ten minutes more. The finished product is usually first draft only as I don't have time to read over it and make it perfect.
Before I start typing I have a fair idea of what I want to write about. I do some Internet searches first on the movie poster and trailer link. Sometimes I need to check out the cast list on IMDB to make sure I get that all correct. I always begin my reviews with the bottom section (cast, duration, parental advice, end credits, trailer link) then I work my way to the introduction of the review. It usually takes me 30-40 minutes to write the whole review.
