Academy Awards Live Telecast

The Oscars have not always been televised live in Australia. It's only been recently when viewers didn't have to wait until prime-time evening to see the full show. The live telecast is fantastic for people who don't have to work during the day due to the time difference between LA and Australia. I record the show to see when I get back home from work and that allows me to fast forward the boring bits. During the day, I regularly check the live updates on the Internet and highlight the winners on my nominations list.
