The Producers Guild of America Awards
"Birdman" has recently received the award for Best Picture from the Producers Guild of America. The reason why I bring this up is because the PGA has a better rate of success than the Golden Globes in choosing the corresponding winner in the Academy Awards. Since its inception in 1989, the PGA has chosen seven different recipients to the Oscars while the Golden Globes over the same period has thirteen different winners.
