The Force Awakens

I am already looking forward to "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" which will be released on December 18, 2015. It's more than one year from release yet the teaser trailer has already been revealed. It doesn't look as CGI dependent as Episodes I, II and III which would only be a good thing. Most importantly, there's no sign of Jar Jar Binks! It will be great to see old favourites Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo because I was always more interested in finding out that happened to them rather than discovering what happened prior to Episode IV. I loved the original trilogy and only liked "Revenge of the Sith" in the CGI era. The only worry is that Disney now has the rights and may decide to make a Star Wars film every couple of years which would no longer give the series an 'event' film status. But for now, by the time this latest instalment is released, it will be 10 years since the last film which sure makes "The Force Awakens" an event film.
