Censorship

I believe that as adults, we can make our own decisions about what and what not to see. The government or film censorship board shouldn't make that decision for us, treating us like children. Even though Australia is a free and democratic country, the list of banned movies is staggering. I can understand when movies are banned in other countries due to religious and moral beliefs but it's not acceptable in a country like Australia. At least we don't have dramatic cuts like there are in countries like Malaysia but these are still in evidence when movies are screened on television. It's totally un-Australian!
